Almost everything sorted out for us. We were a bit lost about the New Zealand segment, but Alice Teremoto really nailed it by organizing some fresh experiences.

Alice T really nailed it with an awesome package for the South Island of NZ. It had all the activities we were keen on, plus a few surprises we hadn’t thought of. The flights, car rentals, hotels, and excursions came together like a well-oiled machine. The dinner cruise in Auckland Harbor was the cherry on top of our trip. Everything went smoothly, and the weather played nice. All I can say is WOW...big thanks to Alice!

Virginia Dameno turned my journey into a fantastic experience. She took my brief and unclear thoughts on what I was looking for and crafted a thorough travel plan that went beyond what I hoped for. This was my first time working with a travel agent, and let me tell you, it’ll be my last. The whole situation has been a joke. I initially reached out in mid-January to plan a trip when flight prices were decent. The agent took ages to reply to each of my questions. We requested several quotes to figure out which excursions we were interested in. I put down a deposit on January 20th, and was told I didn’t need to pay for flights right away; she didn’t ask for any payment at that moment. I followed up on February 1st to get a quote for an excursion (with no changes to flights), and it took her two weeks to get back to me. That’s when I found out that no flights had been booked yet! Between January 20th and February 15th, flight prices shot up, and I was expected to cover the difference. What’s the point of getting a quote and putting down a deposit if the agents are just going to drop the ball? These trips cost a pretty penny as it is, and the fact that it takes weeks to get a response, only to find out nothing is booked, is just absurd. Honestly, I would’ve handled the whole trip myself if I had known it would take six weeks and lead to multiple price hikes. This has been the worst travel experience I’ve ever had.

Goway set us up with guides and transport for our party of 8 in Rome, Israel, and Greece. In each of these spots, the guides selected by Goway were top-notch. They were all knowledgeable, friendly, and a joy to explore with. This was my second time using Goway, and just like the first, it met all my expectations and then some.

The guides we had during our journey in Vietnam and Cambodia were amazing. That said, I reckon the hotels and the transport options weren't exactly top-notch... felt like they were just the same as what the standard group got. So, what was the extra cost for, huh?

Goway Travel handled most of the arrangements for our journey to Australia and New Zealand. Our travel agent secured a 13-day cruise with Princess Cruises, while Goway took care of booking six flights with Air Canada, two airport transfers, five hotels, three tours, and the car rental. We spent four days in Sydney, Australia, at the Travelodge Wynyard, where we enjoyed three local tours. After that, we boarded the Majestic Princess for an incredible cruise that took us to Melbourne and Hobart in Australia, as well as Fiordland, Dunedin, Christchurch, Picton, and Auckland in New Zealand. In Auckland, we picked up our Hertz rental car and drove to Rotorua, staying at the Distinction Rotorua Hotel for two nights. Next, we headed to Napier, where we spent a night at the Scenic Hotel Te Pania Napier. Then it was off to Wellington for a two-night stay at the QT Wellington. Finally, we returned to Auckland and enjoyed four nights at the Sky City Hotel before flying back to Canada. We were really pleased with all the bookings made by Goway; everything from flight connections to hotel choices was spot on. It felt like everyone was expecting us, and we didn’t have to make any calls ahead of time. What an amazing trip, all thanks to our travel agent and Goway Travel. Cheers!

Since we were adding a tricky multi-stop tour that kicked off before and continued after an Antarctic cruise, a straightforward 'off-the-shelf' tour had to be tweaked.
